Museums

Our area has museums both great and small – from the Staithes Museum created by Reg Firth and his wife, Anne, in the handsome Grade II listed Methodist Chapel on the High Street to the fabulous Castle Museum set in the heart of York.

Our neighbouring village of Hutton Le Hole has the brilliant Ryedale Folk Museum that is well worth a visit.
