"Great accommodation and weather. Been to Whitby, Scarborough, York etc and tried all the local eateries of which the best was The Lion, Blakey Ridge on the moors. Played many of the great selection of games - good fun! Very spacious accommodation, plenty of room for us all."

"A fabulous long weekend had by all of us. The weather was glorious too - an added bonus. The kitchen is so well equipped and the beds were so comfortable - everyone slept well. We had a lovely roast at The Coach House Inn, definitely recommended. Also the Dalehead Tearoom halfway round the circular had delicious food. A lovely village, cottage and peaceful break had by us all."

"Every two years we have a family weekend away and the Old Post Office was perfect for us. Such a beautiful house and a wonderful location. We have enjoyed two of your pubs, the play park and walking the footpaths. We also enjoyed the steam train from Pickering. Thank you for the beautifully equipped kitchen for cooking and lovely soap in the bathrooms. You did such a lot to make us feel welcome and at home. All the games, DVDs and books were so good for the younger members of our group. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to groups, we will be back."

"Had a wonderful relaxing time at this beautiful cottage in the lovely village of Rosedale. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen. We especially liked the games, books and DVDs as well as the large screen TV in the lounge. We visited both of the pubs and enjoyed coffee and cake in the Abbey Tea Rooms - it's just next door and the cakes are irresistible. We had several days out at Whitby, Sandsend and Runswick Bay. We will be back later in the year as we didn't get chance to visit the Steam Railway."

"The Old Post Office is a beautifully well appointed cottage which was extremely clean; the kitchen was really well equipped too. The cottage is in a wonderful location with 2 tea rooms and 2 pubs within 5 minutes of the property. The welcome pack was fabulous too, with essentials and luxury items thoughtfully selected by Sue and John. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage and hope to return soon."
